Christmas is almost here; it will be Christmas in 15
days. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. Mostly because you get presents
and we have a break from school. I also like Christmas because “it’s the most
wonderful time of the year.” During this time of year TV shows do special
holiday episodes and classic holiday movies are on like “how the Grinch stole Christmas”,
“home alone”, “grandma got run over by a reindeer”, “the nightmare before Christmas”,
and more. Out of all the Christmas movies I have watched, “grandma got run over
by a reindeer” is my favorite. I remember watching it every year when it came
on TV.
I remember when I was little and it was Christmas Eve.
I couldn’t wait until it was Christmas, I was so excited. My cousins and I
would try to stay up late to see if we could Santa Clause, but we always fell
asleep. I remember waking up earlier than anyone else and going to look at the
gifts under the Christmas tree. I was so excited and couldn’t wait until
everyone else woke up to open the presents.
Another part about Christmas time that I like is there
is no school. We get a break from all the work and we get about a week and a
half of relaxation. We don’t have to worry about nothing or do work. It is not
until the day before we go back to school that I do my homework.
